Job Description

Sleeping Dog Properties, a Boston-based design-build company founded in 1993, specializes in exceptional quality construction projects. Our goal is to be recognized as the industry leader in residential, hospitality, and retail projects in Boston and New England.

We seek an experienced Business Development Lead to work with our Marketing department to evolve our sales platform and manage client project types. The ideal candidate will have analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience in luxury residential construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans for current clients and new acquisitions
  • Train team members on effective sales techniques and revenue growth
  • Create strategies to improve sales performance through ongoing training and development
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly updates on business opportunities and competitors
  • Determine necessary resources within budgetary limitations
  • Enhance performance and productivity through action plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Sales Lead
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software, Procore proficiency a plus
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
