Job Title: Sales Executive, Hunter

Riverbed Technology is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new account acquisition and expanding our customer base by targeting and acquiring new enterprise named accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new account acquisition and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand the structures and hierarchies of prospective customers and identify their priorities, objectives, and motivations.
  • Closing new enterprise-level sales opportunities and leading complex sales cycles.
  • Successfully managing a multi-month sales process, breaking it down into smaller milestones, and tracking progress.
  • Communicating and demonstrating the value of the Riverbed Platform, highlighting ROI, and building a business case for decision-makers.
  • Implementing and executing an effective sales plan, researching and understanding each targeted account's unique challenges, and tailoring a solution that aligns with their needs and goals.
Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience in large enterprise sales, closing new enterprise-level logos, and selling to C-Suite and key stakeholders.
  • Track record of success selling high-end enterprise software in a SaaS subscription model, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience leading the sales cycle from initial contact to closure, navigating complex buying processes involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing sales strategies that drive new account acquisition.
