Job Summary

We're seeking a highly competitive sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you'll be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with educational institutions, driving sales opportunities forward, and evangelizing our Virtual Career Center platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve annual sales quota by building strategic relationships with educational institutions.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of opportunity through industry events, research, networking, and social media exposure.
  • Evangelize the uConnect platform at industry events and across social media channels.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to improve the platform and stay responsive to customer needs.
  • Deliver demos and sales presentations online and in-person.
  • Identify new areas for sales opportunity and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Background as a Business Development Representative with rapid promotion to full account executive.
  • Direct experience handling a high-volume of outbound and inbound interactions.
  • Demonstrated pattern of curiosity, diligence, and independent drive to overcome blockers and meet sales challenges.
  • Proven track record of delivering $500K+ in annual sales.
  • Experience closing consultative customer deals in a B2B sales environment.
  • A knack for identifying and developing customer champions to improve conversion.
  • Disciplined working in a CRM system to manage your pipeline.
  • Demonstrated track record of opening new business relationships with mid-sized and larger institutions and/or businesses.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first setting with knowledge of common collaboration tools.
