The Regional Vice President will oversee the operations of our multi-family properties, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations. This role emphasizes building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including agencies, partners, and property owners. The position will focus on the portfolio located in the Philadelphia/South and North Jersey regions.

As a strategic leader, you will prioritize daily interactions, engage team members, and implement effective maintenance programs while ensuring financial responsibility. Key Responsibilities


• Lead the execution of Michaels' strategic goals and objectives.

• Ensure properties achieve financial targets, maintain safety standards, and meet aesthetic and inspection criteria.

• Develop and mentor property management leaders and team members for growth opportunities.

• Guarantee compliance with regulations and local laws, proactively addressing any violations.

• Collaborate with property managers to establish clear objectives and responsibilities.

• Oversee significant contracts, prepare capital expenditure and operating budgets, and manage outcomes with the Regional Facility Director.

• Work with asset management teams to create and implement strategic plans for each property, providing financial updates as needed.

• Continuously enhance property operations and curb appeal while focusing on revenue growth and cost management.

• Stay informed about economic and demographic trends affecting each property market.

• Communicate effectively with executive management regarding operational strategies and market performance.

• Provide innovative insights to enhance property operations and maximize revenue opportunities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years in multi-family community operations or management, with experience in Military, Student, Market rate, and/or Affordable housing preferred.

Required Education/Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.

• Industry certifications (CAM, ARM, CPM) are advantageous.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships.

• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Capacity to multitask and adapt creatively in various situations.

• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.

• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting deadlines.

• Commitment to confidentiality.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with property management software.

Working Conditions:

1. Availability for non-standard hours and frequent travel (approximately 50%) to properties within the portfolio.
2. Willingness to be accessible during nights and weekends.

Salary Range Information

The displayed salary range reflects the targeted base salary for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by factors such as work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
