Reports To: Senior Field Consultant

Position Summary: The Regional Food Service Manager plays a pivotal role in training and developing food service personnel in alignment with our organizational culture, policies, and operational procedures. This role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and ensuring adherence to various operational responsibilities. The manager will travel to designated locations to establish best practices regarding food service safety and foster a culture of enthusiasm within our food service operations. Additionally, this position involves coaching staff on situational awareness across all facets of store operations.

General Purpose: To ensure total customer satisfaction by delivering competitively priced, high-quality products and services in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. To contribute to community engagement through volunteer initiatives and generate a return on assets that secures the future success of our employees and the organization. To embody our "Living Brand" philosophy by cultivating relationships with our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Food Service Category Manager and operations teams to stay informed about ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Guarantee uniformity in the execution of the food service brand.
  • Assist in managing inventory and minimizing waste across all food service locations.
  • Oversee the completion of Shift Duty Checklists by food service specialists and communicate any issues to store management.
  • Monitor the progress of newly trained staff to ensure their comfort and understanding of food safety and recipe adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness and sanitation protocols as outlined in the Shift Duty Checklists.
  • Standardize procedures across all locations to prevent the development of non-universal practices.
  • Ensure that all food service equipment is properly maintained and operational, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Verify that daily quality checks are conducted to guarantee the freshness of products served.
  • Ensure proper product rotation, organization, and labeling practices are followed.
  • Validate the accuracy of daily prep sheets and order guides, providing constructive feedback to food service specialists and store managers.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of food service equipment and proactively address potential issues.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu and inspire enthusiasm for menu items among staff and customers.
  • Coach staff to ensure accurate food order preparation while maintaining recipe integrity.
  • Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during all phases of food preparation and service.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards related to food preparation.
  • Assist with food service training as needed at designated training centers.
  • Support special events organized by the company.
  • Foster strong relationships with team members and customers.
  • Promote the Living Brand and act as a Product Brand Advocate.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in managing food service operations.
  • Strong situational awareness and customer service orientation.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

  • 2–4 year college degree.
  • Previous experience in retail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: The role requires prolonged standing, the ability to work shifts longer than eight hours, and the capacity to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
  • Work Environment: Flexibility to work various shifts and days as needed, with the ability to tolerate extreme temperatures for short periods and exposure to cleaning solvents.
