Job Title: Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our Centralized Tech Team at Fast Enterprises. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to our core products, performing database administration tasks across instances within Fast Hosting Services, and providing support for client installations with Fast Centralized Tech services.

Key Responsibilities:

* PostgreSQL installation and maintenance
* Install and configure new database servers using best practices
* Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
* Upgrade and service pack implementation
* Backup and recovery
* Database maintenance
* Database monitoring
* Capacity planning and forecasting
* Creating and reviewing data access audits
* Tracking and reporting on Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) metrics
* Performance and tuning

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
* A minimum of 8-12 years of Postgres experience
* A minimum of 8-12 years of database administration experience
* A minimum of 4 years of experience performing or supporting application development
