Clinical Pharmacist II- NBMC Per Diem Nights

At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at NorthBay Medical Center. As a Clinical Pharmacist II, you will be responsible for providing clinical judgment, professional knowledge, and distribution skills in the Pharmacy Department to ensure that patients receive pharmaceutical care that is consistent with the goals of the Department and the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical judgment and professional knowledge to ensure that patients receive pharmaceutical care that is consistent with the goals of the Department and the Organization.
- Develop and implement pharmaceutical care plans that are tailored to the needs of individual patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) or Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy, and evidence of required continuing education.
- California Board of Pharmacy licensure.
- One year of hospital-based experience in unit-dose distribution and IV additives and/or hospital residency required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with drug information and therapeutics.
- Ability to apply professional knowledge and judgment to the provision of pharmaceutical care for patients of the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal.
Benefits:
- Hourly Salary Range: $98.50 (offered hourly rate based on years of experience).
- PM Shift Differential: $6.60 per hour.
- NOC Shift Differential: $21.00 per hour.
