Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II, Clinic to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Capable of performing routine radiographic examinations and possessing a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
Working Conditions

This is a per diem/casual position with varied shifts and a variable schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing assignments and working within standardized policies and procedures.
