We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit team at NorthBay Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to promote, maintain, and restore health for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients assigned to your care
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic professional relationship with patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate patient care and promote a positive patient experience
- Participate in unit-specific defined collaboratively with Nursing Leadership and the Nursing Education Department
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
- Nursing degree of BSN level or higher is required (excludes grandfathered employees)
- Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required
- National Certification preferred
- Professional Organization Membership preferred
- A minimum of six months Acute Care RN experience required
- One year of Skilled Nursing Care, Long Term Acute Care, or Acute Rehabilitation is equivalent to six months of Acute Care experience
- Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Unit-specific defined collaboratively with Nursing Leadership and the Nursing Education Department
- Demonstrates skills in the areas including but not limited to: arrhythmia interpretation, patient assessment, and safe utilization of medications
- Capable of working independently
