As a Manager II Behavioral Health Program, you will be responsible for overseeing a medium-sized group or program within Kaiser Permanente's Behavioral Health department. This role requires a strong administrative and client caseload management background.
Key Responsibilities:- Budget Management: Develop and recommend budget plans to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a larger team, including Adult/Child or CDS teams, and provide guidance on personnel management, HR, and compensation issues.
- Program Design and Operations: Oversee the design and implementation of programs within the unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Access and Resource Allocation: Ensure access to necessary resources and services, and allocate them effectively to meet program needs.
- Committee Participation: Participate in regional committees to contribute to organizational decision-making.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of post-license, paid experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
- Education: Master's degree in applied behavioral science required.
- Licenses and Certifications: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of State Regulations: Familiarity with state regulations regarding ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- Couples and Families Requirement: If Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California, must meet couples and families requirement or complete within two (2) years of hire.
- Labor/Management Partnership: Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
