POSITION: Lead Linux Systems Engineer
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid (remote flexibility available)

ROLE SUMMARY
The Lead Linux Systems Engineer will engage in a collaborative, multi-platform environment, ensuring optimal performance of the production systems by deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and managing a large array of predominantly Linux servers. This position requires expertise in the configuration, operation, and management of Windows/Linux, VMware, Active Directory, Dell, UCS, Veeam, Pure, and NetApp systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the administration of all Linux, virtual infrastructure, and storage systems.
- Independently or collaboratively troubleshoot production incidents and outages.
- Engage in Infrastructure & Security projects and tasks, either solo or as part of a team.
- Collaborate with application owners and vendors on planning and deploying virtual infrastructure while managing the lifecycle of Linux servers (build, deploy, update, decommission).
- As a subject matter expert, evaluate the environment and suggest new technologies, solutions, and automation processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior system administrators.
- Support project initiatives and assist with data center maintenance activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in Linux Administration (Ubuntu/Centos) within large-scale VMware environments.
- 7+ years of experience in Active Directory Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in Storage Administration (NetApp/Pure).
- 5+ years of experience in Cisco UCS Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Center Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in AWS/Azure Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
