Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and residents, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Employee Management: Supervise and develop a team of on-site staff, including leasing managers, maintenance technicians, and administrative assistants.
  • Leasing and Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, oversee leasing activities, and ensure timely completion of lease agreements.
  • Revenue Management: Manage rent collections, delinquency, and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with FPI's financial policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files, reports, and documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with FPI's risk management policies and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and meet regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
  • Accreditation: Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
  • Leadership: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a relatable field preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English; strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
