Job Summary:

As a Property Manager at Brookfield Properties, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an apartment community, including general administration, leasing and occupancy, maintenance of the property, and management of all property associates. You will ensure the highest possible net operating income without compromising the quality of the property's appearance or level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of an apartment community
Maintain the physical assets and performance of the property
Monitor regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures
Establish and coordinate a communication system between property associates and the Corporate Office
Complete performance evaluations on supervised associates
Ensure the highest level of performance and professionalism of supervised associates
Respond to emergency situations and contact appropriate Regional Managers or agencies as necessary

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
Undergraduate Degree in General Studies or an Associate Degree in General Studies
3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role and Property Management
Preferred certifications: Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Property Manager (CAM), or Certified Property Manager (IREM)
Required skills: fair housing laws, Microsoft Office, and leadership/supervisory skills
Preferred skills: affordable housing programs at select properties, One-Site, landlord/tenant knowledge, and LRO
