Position Overview

The role of the Analyst is pivotal in supporting the execution of essential project initiatives for our clientele, with a focus on life sciences commercial strategy. Collaborating closely with Partners, Managers, and Consultants, Analysts are tasked with generating the analytical groundwork that informs project recommendations and conclusions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in daily project operations, including both primary and secondary market research.
  • Summarizing significant findings from market research in a clear and concise manner.
  • Developing client deliverables utilizing PowerPoint and/or Excel.
  • Assisting in project management tasks, such as organizing internal and client meetings.
  • Contributing to the design of research tools that will be employed across the organization.
  • Participating in the development of journal articles, conference presentations, and white papers.

Recent Projects Include:

  • Identifying, prioritizing, and positioning portfolio opportunities for an innovative pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Refining a five-year corporate strategic plan for a drug delivery company, including an environmental scan, case studies, and financial valuation of potential strategic options.
  • Creating a strategic plan to optimize the return on a recent company acquisition within the context of the client's existing portfolio and service offerings.
  • Conducting a commercial assessment of a novel biosimilar in various regions, analyzing clinical requirements, regulatory feasibility, and stakeholder receptivity.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individuals with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficient communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to client service and delivering exceptional quality in work output.
  • Upholding the highest standards of integrity and business ethics.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with an average of less than four nights away per month.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work based on project demands.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 year Master's degree in a science-related discipline or business field.
  • Preferred: One year or more of full-time consulting experience.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position considers various factors, including skill sets, market demand, training, experience, specific qualifications, and organizational needs. The estimated base salary for this role is between $75k and $93k, with a bonus target of 15%.
