Position Overview

The role of the Analyst is pivotal in supporting the execution of essential project initiatives for our clientele, particularly within the life sciences sector focused on commercial strategy. Collaborating closely with Partners, Managers, and Consultants, Analysts will take charge of developing the analytical foundation that informs project recommendations and conclusions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in daily project tasks, including both primary and secondary market research.
  • Summarizing critical insights from market research in a clear and concise manner.
  • Producing client deliverables utilizing PowerPoint and/or Excel.
  • Assisting in project management functions, such as organizing internal and client meetings.
  • Contributing to the development of research instruments that will be used across the organization.
  • Participating in the creation of scholarly articles, conference presentations, and white papers.

Recent Projects:

  • Identification and prioritization of portfolio opportunities for an innovative pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Refinement of a five-year corporate strategic plan for a drug delivery company, including an environmental analysis, case studies, and financial evaluations of strategic options.
  • Development of a strategic framework to optimize the return on a recent acquisition in relation to the client's existing portfolio and service offerings.
  • Commercial evaluation of a novel biosimilar across various markets, analyzing clinical requirements, regulatory feasibility, and stakeholder acceptance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Highly driven individuals with exceptional critical thinking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to client service and the delivery of superior quality work.
  • Adherence to the highest standards of integrity and business ethics.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with an average of less than four nights away per month.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work as project demands dictate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 year Master's degree in a science-related discipline or business field.
  • Preferred: One or more years of full-time consulting experience.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including skill sets, market demand, training, experience, and specific qualifications. The estimated base salary for this role is between $75,000 and $93,000, with a bonus target of 15%.
