About the Job

Vbrick Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our live and on-demand video streaming services, video content management, and video distribution technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document test procedures and quality measurements based on business requirements and functional designs.
  • Execute and oversee testing to ensure the successful deployment of company products and features.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Support, QA Automation Engineers, and Software Engineers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using various tools to improve efficiency of the quality engineering process.
  • Monitor and enter tickets using JIRA, write troubleshooting and technical documents in Atlassian Confluence.
  • API testing using Postman, SoapUI.
  • Ability to work with, coach, and mentor junior QA Engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a Software Testing or Software Quality Assurance occupation.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies, including participation in meetings to review requirements, Scrum groomings, planning, and post-mortem sessions.
  • Strong experience with SDLC and Agile development & testing.
  • 5 years' experience creating test cases based on requirements and manually testing software applications.
  • Experience using different database technologies such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and SQL.
  • Experience in API testing or Web services testing using Postman, SoapUI.
  • 5+ years experience working with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and MAC.
