This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and take on a leadership role in our Assurance practice. As a Senior Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing assurance engagements, supervising staff, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assurance engagements under the direction of Directors and Partners
  • Be an active role-model and leader for staff to emulate
  • Coordinate various planning phases of engagements and ensure work is on schedule
  • Generate budgets and maintain profitable realization standards on engagements
  • Review and evaluation of workpapers, and determine compliance with professional standards and firm policy
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client management and staff
  • Provide on-the-job training to associates
  • Represent the firm by presenting on areas of expertise at industry events
  • Effectively manage employee and client expectations
Requirements:
  • MBA/BS/MS in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • CPA certification, required
  • 6+ years of accounting experience, including experience in public accounting
  • Proven technical skills with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with accounting software, ProSystem FX engagement preferred
  • Solid organization skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Ability to travel to client locations both within and out of CT
