About the Role

Inbox Health's Engineering organization is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on the testability of code and software architecture.
  • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Cypress and configure automated triggers to fire, run, report, and notify engineers and stakeholders of regressions.
  • Create automated unit tests and integration tests server-side using RSpec.
  • Monitor, report, and improve code coverage and test pass percentage of existing tests.
  • Communicate technical details and core concepts of our software product to team members and clients.
  • Develop more robust end-to-end automated tests that interact directly with deployed websites.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in professional software testing and/or development.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, RSpec, and/or QUnit is highly sought after.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and general software development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with an early-stage or start-up company is a plus.
