Corporate Sales Executive

Position Summary:
The Business Sales Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling data, voice, and video services to both new and existing business clients within designated markets. This position involves identifying and qualifying leads, enhancing services for current clients, advocating for our offerings, and successfully closing sales. The representative is accountable for personal performance and contributes to the overall team objectives, working under the guidance of the Enterprise Sales Leader to execute sales and marketing initiatives that align with the company’s growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets utilizing a consultative sales approach in a direct business-to-business environment;
- Generate leads, secure new business, develop sales presentations and proposals, finalize contracts, and close sales while setting accurate expectations for service delivery;
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions, highlighting key features, pricing options, and credit terms;
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and services while staying informed about competitors' offerings and market trends;
- Regularly update and manage the CRM database and sales opportunity funnels to ensure accuracy and fulfillment of customer orders;
- Foster customer satisfaction and uphold a positive representation of Ritter Communications;
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required;
- Document and submit travel-related expenses for reimbursement;
- Travel to client locations, project sites, and other relevant events as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry, including operations, technology, and equipment;
- Familiarity with business sales principles and practices;
- Awareness of telecom industry trends and developments;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce/CRM, Adobe, and other application-based programs;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, colleagues, and various business contacts;
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to prioritize multiple tasks;
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and minimal supervision;
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed business decisions;
- Willingness to travel for business purposes; must hold a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree along with 2 years of relevant experience is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Experience in sales within the telecommunications or information technology sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
