The Finance Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily functions and administration of the finance and accounting division, ensuring the implementation of control systems aimed at safeguarding company assets and delivering precise financial outcomes.

This role requires effective collaboration across all organizational levels, establishing the Finance Operations Supervisor as a trusted advisor to senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing essential financial insights to the Executive Leadership team, conducting operational analyses, and fostering a culture of accountability within the organization.
  • Managing the accounting team to guarantee the seamless operation of systems, databases, and financial policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of existing financial data to meet management requirements.
  • Guaranteeing the accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting.
  • Supporting month-end closing processes, including general ledger and balance sheet account management.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and billing personnel.
  • Acting as a primary liaison for executives and managers.
  • Preparing and presenting weekly cash flow reports to the CFO.
  • Utilizing predictive models to offer financial insights into organizational plans and budgets.
  • Staying updated on audit best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Managing weekly cash flow and reviewing significant payables for accuracy and authorization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on financial management experience in federal government contracting, with a comprehensive understanding of various government contracts.
  • Experience with the financial aspects of the Service Contract Act (SCA).
  • Background in organizational development, human resources, and program operations.
  • Experience with DCAA incurred cost submissions and audits.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis skills are essential. Familiarity with DCAA Policies and Procedures, as well as Deltek Costpoint accounting software, is preferred.
