Compensation: The starting salary for the Lead Financial Strategist position is a minimum of $97,450, with a comprehensive pay range of $81,719 to $134,837.

About the Role:

The Finance & Risk Management Department is in search of a proactive Lead Financial Strategist to spearhead intricate financial analyses and play a key role in strategic decision-making.

This position entails developing and managing budgets, executing comprehensive financial modeling, and ensuring the precision of financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Financial Modeling: Execute complex financial analyses, including revenue projections, cost allocations, and feasibility assessments using advanced Excel models.
  • Monitor Financial Performance: Analyze actual performance against budgets, delivering detailed reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Support Rate Setting: Develop and refine rates and fees, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize financial software such as Workday Adaptive Planning to enhance financial processes and decision-making.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work in partnership with various departments, tenants, service providers, and stakeholders to gather data, formulate financial strategies, and ensure compliance.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Offer financial planning and analysis guidance to support the organization's strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Five years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or professional accounting; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

A degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in public or business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning for financial modeling, budgeting, and scenario analysis, as well as developing and implementing rate-setting strategies, including cost analysis and revenue forecasting.
