The Opportunity:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Financial Strategist to become an integral part of our expanding Finance team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the financial integrity and prosperity of our organization.

Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily financial operations across multiple venues and outlets within our hospitality group.
2. Manage monthly financial tasks including month-end closures, reconciliations, journal entries, prepayments, and accruals.
3. Prepare comprehensive Financial Statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cashflow reports, alongside general ledger oversight.
4. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for various entities.
5. Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register.
6. Handle consolidation of accounts and intercompany transactions.
7. Foster collaborative relationships with finance teams and business stakeholders.
8. Provide supervision and mentorship to the transactional accounting team, particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
9. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
11. Assist in strategic planning and decision-making initiatives alongside the Financial Controller.
12. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA qualified or actively pursuing qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience within the hospitality sector is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with large ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
