Customer Service Branch Specialist

This role involves collaborating closely with commercial paint clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions. Branch specialists are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal client satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Assist clients both in-person and via phone by identifying needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Establish productive trust relationships with wholesale clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products as per customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery efforts as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about available products and discuss options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is desirable.
