POSITION OVERVIEW
As a customer service specialist, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers and our skilled technicians. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, facilitating necessary repairs, and ensuring a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their vehicle is returned
- Assess and identify vehicle issues based on customer feedback and vehicle inspection
- Convert customer-reported concerns into actionable service orders for technicians
- Procure necessary parts from suppliers and verify their timely delivery to the service team
- Ensure that all automotive services rendered meet our high-quality standards
- Prepare invoices and process payments for services completed
- Address and resolve any customer complaints regarding service
- Maintain accurate customer records and input data into our systems
- Proficient knowledge and experience with automotive products, repairs, and components
- Educational background in automotive technology or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate customer needs to technicians
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including word processing and database management
- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and ensure quality service delivery
- Exceptional customer service abilities grounded in experience
- Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated on modern vehicle functions and repairs
- Basic math skills for billing and payment processing
- Capability to explain complex automotive processes to customers with varying levels of knowledge
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software (optional)
