Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources professional to join our team at PrideStaff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Human Resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure required training is completed by employees
  • Oversee the maintenance of personnel/medical files, I-9, and background, drug, and DMV check files
  • Build solid relationships with Leaders at all levels
  • Prepare all necessary termination paperwork and ensure exit interviews are conducted for voluntary departures from the organization
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws to reduce potential for litigation
  • Maintain a presence with employees by attending pre-shift and department meetings, as well as analyzing surveys about the organization from newly hired employees
  • Oversee preparation and maintenance of job descriptions
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of employee communications and events for recruitment efforts
  • Handle and investigate any Employee Relations issues
  • Undertake special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and public relations skills
  • Demonstrated ability to forge strong, trusting relationships with management
  • Excellent customer service skills working with diverse backgrounds
  • Must possess and exude a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to prioritize projects and tasks while remaining productive, discreet, and professional
  • Self-starter with a willingness and enthusiasm for taking on additional responsibility
  • Creative and detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting established deadlines
  • Independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employee laws and regulations
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Excellent organization, time management, stress management, and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years human resources experience
  • Must have a minimum education level of: BA/BS degree (4 year)
  • Proficient in Google systems and HRIS implementations

Compensation:

Annual Salary: $60,000 depending on experience
