We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources professional to join our team at PrideStaff. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering Human Resources policies, programs, and practices. This includes managing the recruitment process, representing the organization at external job fairs, and conducting new hire orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Human Resources policies, programs, and practices
- Manage recruitment process, including advertisement strategies, interviewing, hiring, and applicant processing
- Represent the organization at external job fairs, networking, and speaking engagements
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure required training is completed by employees
- Oversee the maintenance of personnel/medical files, I-9, and background, drug, and DMV check files
- Build solid relationships with Leaders at all levels
- Prepare all necessary termination paperwork and ensure exit interviews are conducted for voluntary departures from the organization
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws to reduce potential for litigation
- Maintain a presence with employees by attending pre-shift and department meetings, as well as analyzing surveys about the organization from newly hired employees
- Oversee preparation and maintenance of job descriptions
- Oversee the planning and coordination of employee communications and events for recruitment efforts
- Handle and investigate any Employee Relations issues
- Undertake special projects as required
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and public relations skills
- Demonstrated ability to forge strong, trusting relationships with management
- Excellent customer service skills working with diverse backgrounds
- Must possess and exude a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks while remaining productive, discreet, and professional
- Self-starter with a willingness and enthusiasm for taking on additional responsibility
- Creative and detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting established deadlines
- Independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employee laws and regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Excellent organization, time management, stress management, and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 2-4 years human resources experience
- Must have a minimum education level of: BA/BS degree (4 year)
- Proficient in Google systems and HRIS implementations
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $60,000 depending on experience
