Senior Cloud Engineer

Position Overview

As a Senior Cloud Engineer within our Observability Platform division, you will collaborate with a diverse group of enthusiastic technologists who are committed to innovation and teamwork. Required Expertise and Skills
  • Proficient in two or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
  • Experience in designing and developing scalable and resilient cloud applications.
  • Hands-on experience with serverless architecture, including Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  • Ability to deliver software adhering to engineering best practices and principles.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CFT, CDK, etc.).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment methodologies.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and cloud trends.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud certifications, particularly in AWS.
  • Familiarity with Datadog.


Team Dynamics

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior/Principal Cloud Engineer to become part of the Observability Platform team at Fidelity. This team is responsible for enabling next-generation cloud applications and platforms across the organization.
