The Role
Are you passionate about creating innovative software solutions? As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge, cloud-based software components for Fidelity's new digital initiatives.

The Team
We are part of a newly established technology domain focused on family engagement within Fidelity's Institutional Technology business unit. Our mission is to deliver a comprehensive suite of digital capabilities while leveraging modern technologies to create user experiences that resonate. We aim to design and implement digital solutions that foster relational and emotional connections among financial professionals, their clients, and families.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing web and mobile applications, including user interfaces, RESTful web services, and database management.
- Strong proficiency in Java / JEE.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Expertise in client-side technologies such as Angular, NgRx, CSS, and HTML.
- Familiarity with software development in AWS environments.
- Basic experience with Docker containerization.
- Knowledge of hybrid mobile development frameworks (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) is a plus.
- Exposure to tools like Storybook JS, API management software, and micro-frontends architecture is advantageous.
- Proficient in web services technologies (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and the Spring Framework.
- Experience with API integration and a solid understanding of RESTful web services.
- Understanding of database technologies and integration practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory; basic knowledge of application deployment in a DevOps setting.
- AWS certifications (e.g., Certified Developer or Solutions Architect) are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and practices.
- Experience with code quality and coverage tools (e.g., Sonar or equivalent).
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Jest, Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium, or similar frameworks).
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment with exposure to continuous integration and delivery methodologies.
- A solid grasp of fundamental design principles for building scalable and resilient software applications.
- Strong teamwork abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
