• Play a pivotal role in assessing business, application, and technical infrastructure needs.
• Propel initiatives aimed at minimizing recovery times.
• Evaluate and scrutinize solutions concerning cloud security, secrets management, and key rotation processes.
• Create, code, test, troubleshoot, and document software using Agile methodologies.
• Architect sophisticated system enhancements.
• Address emerging issues proactively.
• Establish a long-term strategy to tackle challenges and avert future occurrences.
• Oversee daily risk management and operational flow, emphasizing policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve challenges and meet objectives.
Essential Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
• At least 1 year of experience with zVM, Velocity Performance and Monitoring, Broadcom VM Manager Suite, Linux, and exposure to IBM zSeries hardware.
• Proficiency in REXX and CMSPipes scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with SUSE and RHEL Operating systems.
• Experience in Unix/Linux scripting.
• Over 3 years of experience in Agile methodologies.
• Over 3 years of experience with Kanban practices.
• Exposure to ServiceNow and Workday platforms.
Job Expectations:
• Provide support during a 24x7 on-call rotation for zVM and SUSE systems.
• Experience in supporting and managing both zVM 6.4 or newer and SUSE Linux operating systems.
