JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Operations and Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will oversee, organize, coordinate, schedule, and manage all facets of site operations. This includes overseeing staff shift schedules, delegating tasks to Operators, addressing daily operational concerns, ensuring timely submission of client data and reports, conducting scheduled maintenance, and resolving any personnel or capability challenges that may hinder the successful completion of customer orders. Additionally, this role involves assisting plant operators with their daily responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the procurement, organization, and installation of existing or new project components.
  • Lead the operations and maintenance team, strategizing, planning, and monitoring progress on capital projects.
  • Diagnose plant issues and collaborate with the client and site supervisor to devise solutions.
  • Coordinate with lead shift operators to set and communicate production objectives, aligning with client testing, requests, and maintenance needs.
  • Responsible for assigning tasks to crews with the assistance of the Project Manager, creating prioritized lists of daily objectives and tasks.
  • During construction, retrofits, downtime, and other non-operational conditions, work to prioritize and manage operations, maintenance, and logistics staff alongside Wood and Client Project managers, maximizing the skillsets of available team members and third-party contractors to achieve timely, safe, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Exemplify leadership by promoting and committing to a robust safety culture that is integral to being a Wood employee, every day.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, policies, procedures, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), operating and maintenance manuals, and facility schematics/drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this role (data capture, recording, and reporting).
  • Good note-taking skills, a calm demeanor, and a willingness to learn new and exciting skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and fit test.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
