Construction Site Coordinator

Under the direction of the Operations and Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will oversee, organize, and manage all facets of site operations. This includes coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks to Operators, addressing daily operational challenges, ensuring timely documentation and reporting for clients, and guaranteeing that routine maintenance is performed as scheduled. The Site Supervisor will also assist plant operators with their daily responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the procurement, organization, and installation of project components.
- Lead the operations and maintenance team, planning and monitoring progress on capital projects.
- Diagnose plant issues and collaborate with clients and site supervisors to develop solutions.
- Coordinate with lead shift operators to set and communicate production objectives, aligning with client testing and maintenance needs.
- Responsible for assigning tasks to crews with support from the Project Manager, creating prioritized lists of daily objectives.
- During construction, retrofits, or downtime, assist in prioritizing and managing operations, maintenance, and logistics staff alongside Wood and Client Project Managers to optimize team skills and contractor resources for efficient, safe, and high-quality outcomes.
- Exemplify and promote a strong safety culture inherent to Wood's values.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting safety protocols, policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail is essential for data management and reporting.
- Effective note-taking abilities, composed demeanor, and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and fitness assessments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
