Operations Support Supervisor

The Assistant Manager of Operations will play a vital role in our airport leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager while overseeing and enhancing daily operational activities at the station. The ideal candidate for this role excels in a dynamic environment and serves as a proactive mentor for security, customer service, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Dedicate 80% of time engaging with customers in a hands-on capacity at the airport.
  • Ensure adherence to CLEAR and TSA policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity.
  • Monitor and enhance security, service, and sales performance during each shift.
  • Conduct shift briefings, debriefs, and huddles, managing changes, breaks, and rotations effectively.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
  • Oversee asset management and technology usage, ensuring proficiency in troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Act as a representative of CLEAR within the airport, TSA, and airline community by fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage incident prevention strategies and responses.
  • Participate in station management team meetings.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer-oriented operation (e.g., retail, hospitality, restaurants, rental services).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and influence team members.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling effective management of various tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology in daily operations.
  • Ability to successfully complete a government background investigation.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Commitment to following policies and procedures established by CLEAR, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings.
