Position Overview:

The Lead Portfolio Strategist plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional General Manager and Regional Vice President by overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the designated portfolio, ensuring top-tier parking management around the clock. This position is integral to nurturing an employee-centric culture of servant leadership, as the Lead Portfolio Strategist will facilitate programs and initiatives from both our headquarters and regional offices while addressing the unique needs of operational teams across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Management Account clients.
  • Maximize revenue, control expenses, and enhance customer satisfaction by upholding the highest service standards aligned with client expectations.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a team of employees to achieve annual and periodic objectives, embodying LAZ Parking's core values.
  • Conduct recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff in accordance with the LAZ Way methodology, ensuring timely orientation for new hires.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, training, and management of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Implement and fulfill all obligations outlined in the contractual agreements with clients.
  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on new technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to LAZ Audit procedures and meet regional audit objectives.
  • Track and analyze overtime percentages, providing bi-weekly and monthly reports to regional leadership.
  • Manage safety and claims initiatives, ensuring compliance with company SOPs.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to proper claims documentation and communication procedures.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of profit and loss statements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive client relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the West Coast.

Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated success in people management, training, and team development.
  • Experience in customer service industries.
  • Preferred experience in parking management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting throughout shifts.
