SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of general office and accounting/finance experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an automotive dealership setting is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist, train, and mentor all office positions with a positive approach.
  • Maintain effective communication with corporate regarding cash flow needs.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and cash reports.
  • Reconcile and manage cash boxes and petty cash.
  • Post manual journal entries and ensure all documents are accurately maintained.
  • Collaborate with office staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Timely preparation of tax reports, deposits, and returns.

PAYABLES MANAGEMENT:
  • Post invoices, prepare checks, and reconcile statements.
  • Administer inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records.
  • Reconcile cash and select accounts monthly.
  • Assist in annual reviews and audits.
  • Prepare monthly reports for commissions and chargebacks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and navigate through various departments within the organization.
