Patient Services Coordinator

We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist in Worcester, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily scheduling and coordination of appointments, ensuring optimal use of provider time and resources.
- Track and address no-show appointments, filling vacant slots, and accommodating emergency or walk-in patients.
- Verify insurance details for all patients, guiding those with invalid coverage to appropriate resources, and collecting co-payments during visits.
- Maintain precise financial records of cash transactions, process receipts, and ensure accurate documentation for accounting purposes.
- This role may involve evening, weekend, and holiday shifts on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese is preferred; other languages may be considered based on community needs.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and data entry.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role is essential.
- An associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with health insurance programs and eligibility requirements is beneficial.
- Compliance with health center policies regarding vaccinations is required.
