Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle patient co-pays, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Assist with patient education and provide relevant materials to support their understanding of their treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communication.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; two to four years of college or a combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
- Two years of relevant work experience in a medical or dental office setting, with a focus on customer service and data entry.
- Medical Office Administration certificate strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required, or as needed to support other health center languages.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports directly to the Director of Dental Services.
