Job Summary

At Family Health Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Patient Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our dental services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle patient co-pays, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Assist with patient education and provide relevant materials to support their understanding of their treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communication.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; two to four years of college or a combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
  • Two years of relevant work experience in a medical or dental office setting, with a focus on customer service and data entry.
  • Medical Office Administration certificate strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required, or as needed to support other health center languages.

Reporting Relationship:

Reports directly to the Director of Dental Services.
