Position Title: Solutions and Sales Executive, Global Services
Role Objective:
- Drive market engagement within the SGS Services sector to enhance competitive positioning and market share.
- Focus on expanding sales with both new and existing clients while identifying potential vertical integration opportunities.
- Leverage industry expertise to assist clients in achieving their business objectives through effective program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives- Lead thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with marketing, sales, and account management teams.
- Work with internal and external partners to formulate and implement targeted business development strategies.
- Co-create messaging and value proposition materials alongside sales and marketing teams.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities diligently until successful closure.
- Analyze market trends to recommend expanded service offerings and strategic targets for future success.
- Develop reference architectures and best practices based on field experiences to enhance internal capabilities.
- Facilitate the sharing of client insights and competitive intelligence among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance awareness and support for pipeline development through various customer engagement activities.
- Engage in industry leadership events to promote our services.
- Manage the sales pipeline for designated markets, monitoring opportunities and reporting to leadership as necessary.
- Establish and execute targeted customer engagement plans to develop relationships and prioritize opportunities.
- Support strategic sales initiatives by working closely with clients to shape engineering and product priorities.
- Utilize industry knowledge to foster relationships with C-level executives.
- Continuously improve customer presentation materials for effectiveness.
- Oversee the sales process and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to conduct solution workshops with clients.
- Translate functional requirements into defined service offerings.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align on customer needs and solutions.
- Identify synergies between SGS services and client requirements to craft compelling value propositions.
- Develop relationships with external service partners to enhance service offerings.
- Manage responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ to deliver exceptional solutions.
- Facilitate the decision-making process for prospects through effective marketing messaging.
- Ensure that sales documents clearly communicate key messages.
- Address inquiries from senior management and buying authorities.
- Oversee the client experience during complex implementations.
- Manage sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring CRM systems are up-to-date.
- Maintain industry knowledge and stay informed about product developments.
- Share best practices across the sales organization.
- Demonstrate success in acquiring new accounts.
- Experience in managing remote cross-functional teams.
- Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Build effective partnerships with clients.
- Proven ability to solve complex challenges and lead teams.
- Strong strategic and operational planning skills.
- Adapt to changing priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Exhibit a motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas.
- Experience in high-tech service applications including BTO, CTO, and engineering services.
- Knowledge of the CM/EMS industry and relevant service provider pricing models.
- Operational experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
