Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Vice President of Global Sales Engineering. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a distributed team of sales, solution, and value engineers who drive the adoption of intelligent automation solutions within leading enterprises worldwide. Your role will be instrumental in advocating the transformative potential of automation, enhancing organizational productivity, and fostering collaboration on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Direct and manage a global team of sales and value engineers, providing strategic guidance and support to drive pre-sales services across various regions.
  2. Collaborate with regional revenue leadership to develop and execute sales strategies, effectively countering competition by devising and implementing plans that drive revenue growth.
  3. Develop and implement measurable objectives, including revenue generation, win/loss ratios, deal upsizing, new logos, upselling, team utilization, and team enablement & development metrics for the global team.
  4. Ensure alignment of pre-sales offerings with regional requirements and local sales motions, establishing engagement models with relevant artifacts across different markets.
  5. Leverage influence with the product team to ensure features and roadmaps align with global success and enhance sales effectiveness.
  6. Engage with key channel partners, system integrators, customers, and prospects globally to review and contribute to revenue opportunities, providing strategic deal support as needed.
  7. Cultivate subject matter expertise across Automation Anywhere products and methodologies to facilitate enterprises in achieving digital workforce transformations on a global scale.
  8. Oversee hiring, development, and resource allocation for the global team, conducting employee reviews and evaluations.

Requirements

  1. 15+ years of overall work experience with 5+ years' experience in SaaS software sales/pre-sales.
  2. Degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  3. Demonstrated global leadership experience in leading and growing software product pre-sales teams, with evidence of scaling and growing practices and organizations.
  4. Extensive knowledge of technology and processes, combined with experience in client-facing leadership roles.
  5. Comfort in a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  6. Willingness to travel extensively on short notice (up to 50% travel) across regions globally, when feasible.

  1. Consulting experience in a big 5 type environment selling and driving Digital Innovation deals.
  2. Mastery of the AI and Automation market with practitioner experience leading engagements.
  3. Senior level engagement experience with eminence in the field.
  4. Proficiency in practice building.
  5. Familiarity with selling on a cloud platform.
  6. Ability to seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and tactical implementation.
  7. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to overcome sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  8. Proactive approach in handling issues, providing solutions, and acting as a change catalyst under pressure.
  9. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-Level audiences.
