Position Title: Solutions and Sales Executive, Global Services

Role Overview:

  • Tasked with proactively engaging in the SGS Services markets to secure competitive advantages, enhance market share, and establish a strong strategic presence for future business opportunities.
  • Responsible for driving sales growth with both new and existing clients while identifying and pursuing potential vertical integration opportunities.
  • Assist clients in achieving their business objectives by leveraging industry expertise to facilitate valuable program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with marketing, sales, and account management teams.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and implement targeted business development strategies.
  • Co-create messaging and value proposition materials in conjunction with sales and marketing teams.
  • Pursue and secure opportunities diligently until successfully attained.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend expanded service offerings and solutions, along with strategic industry targets for future success.
  • Facilitate the creation of reference architectures and best practices based on field insights to empower internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the flow of client insights and competitive intelligence to relevant internal and external parties.
Pipeline Management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance awareness and support pipeline development through customer engagement initiatives, including workshops and strategic events.
  • Participate in industry leadership forums.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline for designated markets, maintaining awareness of opportunities and reporting to internal leadership as necessary.
  • Develop and execute targeted customer engagement plans to build relationships, assess opportunities, and align with strategic objectives.
  • Support strategic sales initiatives by collaborating closely with prospects and existing clients to shape product and engineering priorities.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to foster relationships with C-level executives.
  • Continuously refine customer presentation materials to enhance effectiveness.
Execution and Delivery
  • Lead the overall sales process and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to conduct solution workshops that define business objectives and quantify benefits.
  • Translate functional requirements into defined service offerings.
  • Engage with internal teams to identify synergies between the SGS service portfolio and client needs, crafting compelling value propositions.
  • Identify and cultivate external partnerships to enhance service offerings and market reach.
  • Oversee and manage responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ requests to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process for prospects by presenting compelling marketing messages and value propositions.
  • Ensure that customer-facing documents effectively convey key messages for maximum impact.
  • Respond to inquiries from decision-makers and senior management.
  • Oversee the client experience during complex implementations as necessary.
Administrative Duties
  • Manage sales forecasts and budget information to support overall company management. Ensure CRM systems are maintained and updated.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations, maintaining expert status.
  • Share and implement best practices across the sales organization.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in developing and securing new accounts.
  • Experience working with diverse remote teams in large organizational structures.
  • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Build effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solve complex challenges and lead teams in doing so.
  • Strong strategic and operational planning capabilities.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and managing revenue responsibilities of $10M+.
  • Experience in high-tech applications relevant to services such as BTO, CTO, reverse logistics, and engineering services.
  • Knowledge of the CM/EMS industry and relevant service provider financial structures.
  • Operational experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Project management skills are desirable with a strong ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
