Position Title: Solutions and Sales Executive, Global Services

Role Objective:

  • Drive aggressive market penetration within the SGS Services sectors to secure competitive advantages, enhance market share, and establish a robust strategic position for future growth.
  • Responsible for boosting sales with both new and existing clients while identifying and pursuing potential vertical integration opportunities.
  • Assist clients in achieving their business objectives by leveraging your expertise to facilitate valuable program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with marketing, sales, and account management teams.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and implement targeted business development strategies.
  • Co-create messaging and value proposition materials alongside sales and marketing teams.
  • Pursue opportunities relentlessly until successfully secured.
  • Evaluate market trends and provide insights on expanding service offerings and solutions, as well as identifying strategic industry and customer targets.
  • Facilitate the development of reference architectures, technical documentation, and best practices based on field experiences to enhance internal capabilities.
  • Manage and disseminate client insights, competitive intelligence, and solution enhancement requests to relevant stakeholders.
Pipeline Development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote awareness and support pipeline development through customer engagement initiatives, industry events, and thought leadership content.
  • Participate in key industry leadership events.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline for designated markets, maintaining awareness of opportunities and reporting to internal leadership as necessary.
  • Establish and execute a strategic plan to target clients, build relationships, assess opportunities, and close new business in alignment with financial objectives.
  • Support strategic sales initiatives by collaborating closely with prospects and existing clients to influence engineering and product priorities.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to cultivate relationships with C-level executives.
  • Continuously refine customer presentation materials to enhance effectiveness.
Execution and Management
  • Lead the overall sales process and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, sales, and technical teams to conduct solution workshops with clients to define objectives and quantify benefits.
  • Translate functional requirements into defined service offerings.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal teams, including corporate sales and account management, as appropriate.
  • Identify synergies between the SGS service portfolio and client needs, crafting compelling value propositions.
  • Develop external partnerships to enhance SGS offerings and expand market reach.
  • Oversee and manage responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ submissions to deliver effective solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process for prospects by presenting compelling marketing messages and value propositions.
  • Ensure that customer-facing sales documents effectively convey the intended messages for maximum impact.
  • Respond to inquiries from decision-makers and senior management.
  • Maintain stewardship of the client experience by collaborating on complex implementations as necessary.
Administrative Duties
  • Manage sales budgets and forecasts, ensuring that CRM and other sales data systems are accurately maintained.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and maintain expert status in relevant fields.
  • Share and implement best practices across the sales organization.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in developing and securing new accounts.
  • Experience working with diverse remote cross-functional teams in large organizations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Build effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to address complex challenges and lead teams in problem-solving efforts.
  • Strong strategic and operational planning capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and managing revenue responsibilities of $10M+.
  • Experience in high-tech applications related to BTO, CTO, reverse logistics, repair, direct order fulfillment, and engineering services.
  • Knowledge of the CM/EMS industry and relevant service provider P&L structures and pricing models.
  • Operational experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications, with the ability to learn and utilize company CRM tools.
  • Project management skills are desirable, with a strong ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
