About the Role

Luminar, a pioneering automotive technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join its Internal Audit team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in promoting business integrity and robust internal control structures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • SOX Planning and Risk Assessment: Collaborate with external auditors and business process owners to develop and implement effective SOX planning, scoping, and risk assessment processes.
  • Business Process Walkthroughs and Controls Testing: Conduct thorough business process walkthroughs and controls testing to ensure compliance with established audit standards.
  • Audit Documentation and Reporting: Develop high-quality business process and audit testing documentation, and evaluate audit findings to coordinate remediation of deficiencies.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Assist with initiatives such as process mapping, data governance, and GRC (NIST, ISO27001, etc.) to drive business process improvements and optimization.
  • Business Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with process owners to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate initiative and provide timely updates to internal audit management, and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of audit experience, preferably within the technology industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal audit standards, as well as good understanding of a supply chain and manufacturing business model.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to take direction, and maintain a level of professional skepticism.
