Who We Are Looking For

We are in search of a seasoned product executive to enhance the sophistication of our product management, design, and operational frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess a robust history of guiding high-achieving teams, establishing efficient product management methodologies, and nurturing both product managers and designers to elevate their professional capabilities.

In this capacity, you will supervise our Product Management Division, collaborating closely with our CEO and the Content Team Lead to shape and influence product and design strategies across all features.

This role is remote with occasional travel necessary for onboarding, team gatherings, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Product Development: Direct the product development lifecycle for your team, from ideation through the launch of new features, which includes defining specifications, prioritizing initiatives, and managing schedules.
  • Leadership of Teams: Guide the product management division to formulate cohesive product strategies, establish metrics, and accomplish team goals.
  • Strategic Guidance: Propel critical product decisions, ensuring quality and timely execution.
  • Monitoring Performance: Evaluate the effects of product launches on user experience and business performance.
  • Enhancement of Processes: Continuously improve product management systems and processes to optimize business and product outcomes.
  • Development of Professionals: Foster the growth of team members through targeted mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Coordination Across Functions: Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate projects into the product lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Leadership Background: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing high-performing, diverse product teams.
  • Product Development Expertise: Over 5 years of experience with user-facing software products, particularly in startup or agile settings.
  • Process Enhancement: Demonstrated ability to iterate and refine team systems and operational processes.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional skills in communication and team building.
  • Data Analysis Competence: Advanced capabilities in data analysis and familiarity with user data platforms.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Product Management Experience: More than 5 years as a product manager with specialization in UX and UI.
  • Inclusive Design Experience: Background in creating accessible and inclusive designs for a diverse user base.
  • AI Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with AI and generative design tools, and their application in product design.
  • Educational Qualifications: Advanced degree in Design, User Experience, Psychology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Certifications: Certifications in Scrum, Agile, CPM, or related fields.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficient in using project management and design tools such as Asana, Figma, Miro, and Zoom.
