Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed financial strategies to align with the organization's long-term objectives, encompassing capital structure, investment approaches, and funding strategies.
  • Direct and mentor the financial strategy team, including recruitment, professional development, and performance assessment.
  • Supervise the generation and examination of comprehensive financial reports, including financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and strategic financial plans.
  • Lead the financial planning cycle, which includes long-term strategic planning, annual budgeting, cash flow oversight, and scenario modeling.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors to facilitate strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
  • Assess and oversee significant investment prospects, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and other strategic ventures.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, and devise strategies to effectively mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and various departments to synchronize financial strategies with overall business goals and promote cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and best practices, while implementing robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging best practices to maintain the competitiveness and effectiveness of the organization's financial strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related area, with at least 7-10 years in a senior management or director-level capacity.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling, strategic planning, investment evaluation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling software) and advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement financial strategies that drive organizational growth and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in conveying financial information and recommendations to senior executives and the board of directors.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, including experience in guiding and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in corporate finance.
  • Capacity to manage multiple high-priority projects and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
