- Supervise the development and upkeep of sophisticated financial models to facilitate strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to pinpoint business opportunities, evaluate financial risks, and propose strategic actions.
- Deliver in-depth analysis of financial performance, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, presentations, and strategic insights to senior management and the board.
- Oversee the financial planning process, including the formulation of annual budgets, long-term financial strategies, and capital allocation plans.
- Monitor and assess financial performance against strategic benchmarks, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective measures to enhance financial results.
- Lead and nurture a team of financial professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization's financial strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Manage cross-departmental projects related to financial strategy, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in financial strategy, corporate finance, or a related area, with at least 7-10 years in a senior management or director-level capacity.
- Extensive expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and data analysis, with a proven history of crafting and executing successful financial strategies.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Excel) and data visualization methods.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in conveying financial strategies and recommendations to senior executives and the board.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including experience in guiding and developing high-performing teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in financial strategy.
- Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
