About the Opportunity
Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. is a privately held, family-owned and operated direct store distribution business established in 1976.
We are seeking an ambitious and hard-working individual to fill the position of Business Development Representative for our growing territory in South Dakota.
The position will be located in or near Summerset, SD, with access to our Distribution warehouse in the same area.
About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in growing our business by presenting our program and opening new accounts in the C-store or grocery business.
You will establish relationships with single store owners and chain accounts, generating leads through cold calling, customer referrals, and industry involvement.
Your goal will be to have potential customers try our product, resulting in the growth of our business within a specified district or territory.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of new accounts
- Design layout and coordinate the installation of pizza shops on all accounts sold
- Responsible for all necessary paperwork involved in the installation and set-up of new accounts
- Coordinate with the team member the delivery of product and equipment needed for installation and sample of new accounts
- Educate potential customers about Hunt Brothers Pizza products and service philosophies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A two-year degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated sales ability, especially with establishing new business
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Clean driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills
