CT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our dynamic team at Danbury Hospital. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Position patients correctly, using shielding and other techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
- Assist with training students and ancillary personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records, completing all work before clocking out and leaving.
- Attend annual hospital reviews and departmental in-services meetings, staying up-to-date on the latest medical and technical developments.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience in CT scanning, with a strong understanding of radiologic principles and practices.
- Current BLS, CT State RT License, and ARRT certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
