CT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our dynamic team of radiology professionals at Nuvance Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic CT scans of patients while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Introduce and greet patients, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
- Responsible for the care and safety of patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Instruct and prepare patients for CT exams, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Determine the most suitable anatomical posture and positions for patients, shielding them accordingly to minimize radiation exposure.
- Produce high-quality CT scans, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Assist with training students and ancillary personnel, promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Interact professionally with patients and family members, providing exceptional customer service.
- Complete all work before clocking out and leaving, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient workflow.
- Attend annual hospital review and departmental in-services meetings, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices.
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- May lead, coach, and mentor staff members, promoting a culture of growth and development.
- Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Minimum one year of experience in CT Scan technology.
- BLS, CT State RT License, or New Graduates under CT Temporary Practice Provisions.
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Continuing education, with a minimum of 24 CEU credits for license renewal.
- Maintain current knowledge of professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
- Experience with patient care in a radiology setting.
