Advanced MRI Imaging Specialist - Full Time - Day/Evening


Nuvance Health is actively seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule between 7:30 AM and 8 PM, including rotating Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 3 PM.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess ARRT certification and a minimum of one year of experience in MRI. Ideally, applicants will have at least three years of MRI experience, along with a background in ultrasound or CT scanning. Our compensation packages are highly competitive, reflecting the experience of the candidate.

Role Summary:
The MRI Imaging Specialist will perform MRI procedures to assist physicians in delivering high-quality patient care, aligning with our commitment to patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Exhibit proficiency and technical skill in operating MRI equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct and document daily quality assurance procedures.
  • Develop competencies to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Administer contrast materials as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Understand the role of an MRI technologist within the healthcare team, functioning with competence and compassion.
  • Possess cross-training in additional modalities such as CT scanning, mammography, or bone density testing.
  • Maintain technical proficiency in less frequently performed procedures.
  • Adhere to all compliance standards related to the position.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Additional Information:
Required Experience:
Minimum of one year in MRI; preferred three years with ultrasound or CT background.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Day/Eve shifts, with an 8-hour workday.

Credentials Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Radiographer Certification

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent

Working Conditions:

  • Requires significant manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Involves potential occupational risks.
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors.
