Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Danbury, CT. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting with the insertion of catheters into the heart and measuring and administering special fluids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transfer Patients to Recovery Rooms: Safely transfer stable patients to recovery rooms following the completion of procedures.
  • Assist with Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, set-up, and testing of EP lab equipment.
  • Provide Patient Support: Answer questions from patients and family members prior to the procedure, providing reassurance and support.
  • Monitor EKG Readouts: Monitor EKG readouts and report any irregularities to the doctor, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Inspect and Test Equipment: Inspect and test EKG equipment prior to patient procedures, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Prepare Patients for Procedures: Prepare patients for procedures, including cleaning, shaving, and other necessary preparations.
  • Anesthetize the Area of Insertion: Anesthetize the area of insertion for angioplasties, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree in a related field.
  • Certification: Telemetry Certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician.
  • Current Certification: Current AHA BLS certification.
