Apogee Engineering is on the lookout for a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support our initiatives within the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Program Executive Office for Fixed Wing's MC-130J program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and refine documentation for research, development, and acquisition management systems, including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), System Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), and other essential program documents.
  • Gather and evaluate metrics and requirements from relevant organizations.
  • Formulate components of program acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date program information and organize data for management decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on program status, policies, and procedures to support acquisition milestones.
  • Assist in cost/benefit analysis to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Monitor program compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budget preparation and financial execution in alignment with policies, proposing solutions for any deviations.
  • Coordinate program information with team members and stakeholders.
  • Interpret relevant regulations and directives to assess their impact on program operations.
  • Identify requirements and develop objectives to achieve program goals, ensuring alignment with government counterparts.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to eliminate program bottlenecks and enhance production efficiency.
  • Manage resource allocation based on program needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Certifications: DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management, Engineering & Technical Management, or Test & Evaluation (T&E).
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Acquisition, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12 years in Federal Government acquisition projects, demonstrating expert-level knowledge in DoD fixed-wing aircraft development and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business or acquisition with 10 years of experience in DoD acquisition projects.
  • Familiarity with SOF-specific acquisition processes is advantageous.
