Apogee Engineering is in search of a Senior Acquisition Analyst to provide support for the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Fixed Wing's (PEO-FW) MC-130J program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate comprehensive documentation for research, development, and acquisition management systems, including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), System Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), and other essential program documents.
  • Gather and assess metrics and requirements from various supported entities.
  • Formulate elements of acquisition strategies for the program.
  • Conduct market research as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date program information and organize data for management decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations regarding program status, policies, and procedures in alignment with acquisition milestones.
  • Assist in cost/benefit analyses.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency, providing recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding program policies and procedures.
  • Ensure program compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee program budget preparation and financial execution, proposing mitigations for any deviations or unfunded priorities.
  • Coordinate program information dissemination among personnel.
  • Interpret relevant regulations and directives to assess their impact on programs.
  • Identify requirements and develop objectives to achieve program goals, supporting government counterparts in program execution.
  • Investigate solutions to eliminate production bottlenecks and barriers.
  • Manage resource allocation based on program needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Certifications: DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management, Engineering & Technical Management, or Test & Evaluation (T&E).
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Acquisition, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in Federal Government acquisition projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business or acquisition with 10 years of experience in DoD acquisition projects.
  • Familiarity with SOF-specific acquisition processes is advantageous.
